Golden Prairie Arts Council Benefits of Membership

Annual Fee: $10.00 for a yearly adult membership

             $ 5.00 for a yearly youth membership (under age 18)

             $25.00 for a yearly business membership

Individual Membership:

     -Membership in the Council shall be open to individuals that share the interests and objectives of the arts council.

Adult Membership:

     -Entitles the member to attend and vote at the Annual General Meeting and to sit for office on the arts council board.

     -Entitles the member to receive any of the benefits or services offered by the arts council for its members

     -Annual membership fee is due each year at the Annual General Meeting.

Youth Membership:

     -Entitles the member to attend and vote at the Annual General Meeting

     -Entitles the member to receive any of the benefits or services offered by the arts council for its members

     -Annual membership fee is due each year at the Annual General Meeting.

Business Membership:

     -Membership in the Council shall be open to groups and businesses that share the interests and objectives of the Council and to show a contribution to the ongoing development of the arts in their community.

     -Entitles the business member to attend and have two votes at the Annual General Meeting.

     -Entitles the business member to receive benefits or services of membership for two members of their business or their family. Two membership cards will be issued to the designated members representing businesses or groups.

     -Annual membership fee is due each year at the Annual General Meeting.

Classes & Workshops:

     -All members will receive a discounted registration fee for most classes and workshops organized by the arts council.

Art Supplies:

     -When the arts council purchases art supplies in bulk, the savings can be passed down to members. The cost would be approximately 20% lower (on average, depending on the type of supplies) than the shelf price, plus PST & GST.
